Let Not This Post Stand Alone...

Sorry to everyone for never posting. My excuses are that I don't have internet at home and that school sort of owns my soul right now. But, to let all y'all know what's up in my life: I LOVE BEING MARRIED!>><&*^!@!!! I hope that all of that extra punctuation gets my excitement across. Christine and I are finally all moved in and life is really good. For a while we had no bed, couch, or chairs. And we had only one fork. Dinners were pretty interesting. I was like, "I call the fork!" as I reserved my favorite spot on the floor. However, all of that has been resolved, although we still have no chairs at our dining room table. But still, we have a happy little residence. We refer to it fondly as "the dungeon." School's going pretty well. I get to write sweet code and design sweet circuits and stuff like that, even if it does take a lot of time. Our new ward seems really cool. So, things are good.
Ben, I would like to inform you of my Cheyenne Arapahoe blood, so I hope that you enjoy your connection (through your work) to my noble people, however small that connection may be. Anyway, that's all I got for now. Hope everyone's doin good. Corn is no place for a mighty warrior.

lack of posting

Yeah, generally I'm a big fan of posting but, as things are right now, not much I want to express. Most of the expressing has been on my personal blog. This is because of a large string of bad news for me in the past few weeks. Looking for a new job, new social scene and a change of pace. So, that about covers it. I hope y'alls doing well.

Death Metal

"The gift of death metal does not smile on the good-looking."

"Creeping, rusty meat. Truly the heart and soul of death metal."

Righteous Indignation?

So, um, what's going on?

Surprisingly little activity on the blog, considering that most of you have moved on to something vaguely new in the last few. Here's my update:

I am currently employed (via temp agency) with the Arapahoe, Colorado County Community Support Office. I.e. welfare. I stamp and file and check voicemail and translate etc. It smells like carcinogens and B.O. all the time. That's bad. But it pays way better than what all of your work-studies are doing (which means I got nothing on Brett, Kev, Mike, or Brando).

The Singles' Ward is fine. I have some friends, but it's definitely not the same. Recently begun a side project to get the members of the ward to do something. At all. I think it'll work. I was called as the Assistant Director of Public Affairs. Sugarjob. Then I was called to be the Elders' Quorum Secretary. That's right, two callings. Good thing I've done EQS before, but I think I'm not going to end up doing a lot on PA.

No girl. Not really anything on the horizon there.

Post, dang it!

Can somebody help me?

Hey,

Does anybody have John Van Orman's address? Ben, you gave it to me, but I can't find it. If someone could give it to me again, that would be great. Melanie and I are writing him a letter!
Peace out!
